Orange Business Lounge (OBL) serves as an Orange branch dedicated to business customers, providing them with a range of services tailored to their needs. Our team had the opportunity to collaborate on two distinct yet interconnected projects: the redesign of the OBL mobile app and the My Service Space website. These platforms play a vital role in empowering end users to access essential features such as consumption tracking, contract information, and customer support.
The project aimed to revitalize legacy components and introduce a fresh, user-centric approach through phased redesigns. Our initial focus was to establish a comprehensive design library, serving as the initial foundation for the development of a cohesive design system that could be seamlessly applied to both the mobile app and the website.
Designing messages and errors presents an opportunity to showcase the brand's character and bring an element of fun to the user experience. That was achieved by combining Orange library illustrations with creative interventions.
We encountered a well-documented style guide that served as the foundation for our design library. Our task was to translate this existing guide into a practical and effective format that could be utilized across various projects within the ecosystem.
To achieve this, we embarked on an inventory process, meticulously recreating all the components and documenting them in our files. This ensured consistency and enabled seamless integration across different projects. Our aim was to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency in the design process.
While the existing style guide was well thought out, we recognized the need to augment it with additional specifications, particularly for responsive design. By incorporating these specifications, we ensured that our designs could adapt and provide optimal experiences across various devices and screen sizes.
This was a prototype for the Service Space Dashboard.
